Norse Projects’ contemporary take on classic garment designs is best demonstrated in their military-inspired pieces such as this hooded liner jacket. The brand has reinterpreted the modular midlayer from the ubiquitous M-65 coat into a versatile piece that can be worn standalone or layered with Norse shell jackets – much like its source material.
The brand has made some key updates to a design that was sometimes agricultural in manufacturing prowess (military contracts YKTV) to make it a bit more premium. This includes ribbed cuffs to keep the warmth in, which is provided by recycled Thermolite EcoMade lining. There’s also an integrated hood to ensure the neck up is equally toasty. And, for bonus nerd points, the wavy stitching on the body – intended to stop the fill moving around – is reoriented in a clean grid pattern.
